As you can see, I've added a few deviations.  I finally went to a real camera store and got a D80.  It does seem to have a barely lighter pixel way in the lower left corner but it was like 90 degrees out and, as I understand it, those things get worse with temperature. So, now I've started taking pictures again.  I love the camera, I just hope I can stay motivated and get off my lazy XBox playing ass once in a while and look for cool things to capture. Still not getting moods to work... maybe it's FF thing.  Hope not.

So I went through two D80s... both had hot pixels on the sensor.  Not as many as I've since read about so I assume that the problem is getting better.  But I don't want to have to send it in for remapping or PS them out all the time.  I want a digital camera that's actually up to the task of taking digital pictures. I guess the technology isn't quite to where I want it to be. I'd set a mood of highly disappointed but I can't as the DA mood selector doesn't seem to be working either. What a bummer of a day.

I've been meaning to get back into photography.  I've been putting off getting a real camera far too long.  My excuse was that I was waiting for the whole "digital thing" to get good enough such that I could get a decent entry level camera for a reasonable price and avoid the whole physical medium hassle. I'm sure that time has come and gone but I couldn't procrastinate any longer.  Impulse purchase!!! I've always been partial to Nikon so went a-shoppin.  Did some research first, found the D60 to be about where I wanted to start but quickly talked myself into the D80.  I'd rather have a low-cost version of a high end than a sup'ed up low en
